Online Databases
Online databases are provided for students and staff of the Brisbane North Institute of TAFE. Use online databases to find information in journal articles and newspapers on a wide range of topics. Other information such as Australian Standards, the Building Code and statistical information is also available. Some databases are only accessible through the Learning Hub site in MyTAFE.
Reference Resources
The reference desk contains invaluable resources such as links to online dictionaries and encyclopedias.
Referencing and Bibliographies
This provides a brief guide on how to acknowledge and reference sources of information and ideas used in assignments. A comprehensive guide to compiling bibliographies and referencing is available through the Learning Hub site in MyTAFE.
