O Week 2012

O Week is an exciting time for all at BNIT!

Orientation events are held on each student campus of the Institute in the week prior to start of study in Semester 1. All current and new students are warmly invited to attend.

O Week activities are fun events designed to familiarise students with campus life, enabling them to meet their teachers and receive an overall introduction to study at BNIT. Students attending O Week events have the opportunity to meet with staff from right across the Institute, from the Recognition Services Unit, to the Access Team, the Learning Hubs (libraries), the International Team and the Student Representative Council, as well as faculty management and the Institute Director.

These events enable students to take a campus tour, enjoy a free barbecue lunch and entertainment (complete with competitions!), and participate in individual class information sessions.

Campus-based Customer Service and Information Centre staff are also on hand at the events to answer student enquiries and formally process enrolments. All new BNIT students are strongly urged to attend their nominated Orientation Week event to ensure they have all the information necessary to make the very most of their study experience. O Week events also provide the ideal opportunity to make new friends in a relaxed environment.
