Fees and payments
When enrolling into a course, there will usually be a fee payable for your enrolment. To make paying for your course as simple as possible, BNIT offers a variety of ways to pay. Not all payment options will be available in all circumstances, so please refer to the enrolment information available for your course of interest, or please contact our Customer Service Contact Centre on 131 248 for further advice.
A student is not enrolled until all fees have been paid in full. If experiencing difficulty paying fees prior to enrolment, students can contact a Customer Service Centre to discuss a Time To Pay arrangement and/or Centrepay arrangement. If a student wants to access a Centrelink benefit they need to check with Centrelink to ensure the program they are considering meets the Centrelink criteria. Students are liable for all payments, even if they discontinue their program.
Debt recovery action will be taken to recover outstanding fees and students will be required to pay the costs incurred to recover the debt. Student awards may also be withheld until all fees are paid.
BNIT charges an annual administration and utility fee (currently $40) for most programs which is charged as part of the first enrolment in a calendar year. This fee covers the cost of a student ID card and access to a range of resources and services. Access is valid for one calendar year.
VET FEE-HELP
BNIT offers VET FEE-HELP for selected programs to eligible students so you can study now and pay later.
