Grovely campus is a very welcoming and attractive campus to study at, providing a centre of learning excellence for horticultural trades and careers. Grovely graduates are well regarded in areas such as greenkeeping and floristry.
Classrooms and training areas are surrounded by lawns, gardens, nurseries, reclaimed forest areas, golf courses and bowling greens. The campus sits near the impressive Brisbane State Forest Park - more than 26,500ha enclosing 16 separate recreation areas. This beautiful park is a favourite of bush walkers, back-country hikers, bird lovers and picnickers. The wide variety of habitat provides a sanctuary for a broad range of native wildlife.
Samford State Forest is nearby and the more adventurous can try grass skiing at the Samford Alpine Adventureland. Samford and Dayboro, which lie on either side of Lake Samsonvale, are charming, historic towns admired for their arts and crafts galleries, museums and eating houses. Picturesque shoreline settings at Bullocky Reserve, MacGavin View, Harrison Pocket and Forgan Cove are popular among picnickers.
Driving
Turn off Samford Road onto Dawson Parade. Passing Mcdonalds turn right into Casey Street. Turn right into Woking Street to access free student parking.
