BNIT joins the twitterverse

Brisbane North Institute of TAFE (BNIT) has joined its voice to the twitterverse, launching its official Twitter presence, @BNITface, on Monday, 19 March.

The much anticipated launch celebrates the first anniversary of BNIT face, the Institute's official Facebook page, which was its first foray into social media on the same date last year.

With more than 300 million tweeters worldwide, Twitter is an increasingly important communications platform.

By joining its voice to the medium BNIT can now converse with an ever larger number of students and help build an online BNIT community. This enhances the educational experience for students, especially for the increasing cohort of those choosing to study via distance and online.
